Why a morning routine helps you win

I’ve been doing some form of a morning routine for over 10 years now. However, it wasn’t until the past few years that I’ve realized that I can customize my morning routine and use it to help me overcome specific challenges that I’m facing in a season of my life.

Your Morning routine helps you build confidence

If you’re following us on Instagram @wellthyandrelaxed, I mentioned how there was a time where I was struggling with believing I was a good writer. I’ve been carrying this negative belief around with me since I was young ever since a teacher told me that I wasn’t a good writer. This belief was starting to affect my career. I knew I had to work on creating new beliefs and actually start believing them so that I can start writing better and feeling more confident in myself and my skills.

what is an example of a morning routine?


Here’s what I had to do:

For my soul:
I prayed to God and asked him for strength and to help my unbelief. I also meditated, wrote in my journal, and created new affirmations to repeat to myself. This reflection and affirmation was important to helping me address the root issues and rewire my beliefs.

For my mind:
I purchased a writing book and began to practice my writing.

For my body-
I worked out consistently. “A McKenna’s 2017  research, published in BMC Public Health, shows that when workers  integrate more movement into their workdays, they’re better at meeting  tight scheduling demands and performing cognitive tasks.” Working out also helps with Improved concentration; Sharper memory and faster learning. (Bonus it also keeps me healthy and looking good ; )

These practiced all helped me improve my writing skills, rewire my belief and boost my confidence. It’s been a game changer for me to know how to adjust my morning routine to help me win in my life. Now we help our clients win too with their custom tailored routines.

It’s so powerful when you have a system in place to help you become who you were meant to be. A system that keeps you on track with the goals that you said you wanted to reach. I honestly don’t know where I would be without my morning routine and monthly habits.
